Nicaragua, here I come!

Greetings!  Tomorrow morning (September 30th), I’m flying to Nicaragua.  It’s for Deaf Ownership Translation workshop, where we will teach deaf Nicaraguan translators to translate God’s Word into their sign language.  I will be staying at deaf school in Managua for 2 weeks.  Really looking forward to meet deaf people and learn their sign language and culture.  Needless to say, I’m so ecstatic!  Please pray for deaf translators and interpreters to be able to understand God’s Word and their best ability to use their sign language on video doing Scriptures.  Pray for 3 leaders included me to arrive in Nicaragua safely and guide us to help and communicate with them.  We need His protection, wisdom, peace and comfort.  I will post updates and pictures when I can during 2-week workshop.  In case you don’t know where Nicaragua is, see the map below.  It located in Central America.

2017 Master’s Hands Retreat Camp

Greetings!  I just want to share pictures I took at retreat camp last weekend (September 22nd – 24th).  I had a wonderful time with brothers and sisters in Christ!  We worshiped, taught, learned, talked, laughed, and really enjoyed our time there.  I wish we could stay there longer but there will be another one next year!  Enjoy the pictures!

Beautiful Lake Aurora Christian Camp

Our camp theme was Jesus is our Anchor.  We worshiped, taught in workshops and listened to God’s Word.  Evangelist Tim Smith from Texas came to our camp to preach.  It’s a truly blessing to have him at camp.

6 people were baptized at Lake Aurora.  Praise the Lord!  We were very happy for them!

What an amazing group!  Hope to see you all there next year!

Update

Greetings!  Sorry I haven’t blog since Honduras trip.  It’s been hectic for past 2 months.  I was so busy with work and making plans for Master’s Hands camp and Nicaragua DOT workshop.  Also, survived through Hurricane Irma and my house took some hits.  There were some roof shingles missing.  Nothing major, the roof can be replaced.  My insurance will take care of it.  Biggest surprise is I still have power during the whole time!  But I feel bad for people who still don’t have power especially in south Florida.  Many lost their homes.  A lot of disasters are happening in this nation, coast to coast.  There are still fires in the west.  People are suffering and they need our support and prayers.  Someone left a link in my email.  Link – Interactive map.   You can see what’s happening in our country.  Please continue to pray for them.

Master’s Hands retreat camp is coming up very soon, starting this Friday.  I’m exciting!  Tim Smith, a deaf evangelist from Texas, will come to preach God’s Word.  Look forward to this weekend.

Lastly,  DOT Nicaragua plan is starting to come together.  I will lead a group with Lidia Powlison.  This is our first time to lead a workshop.  This will benefit us for our experience.  Really looking forward to see deaf people in Nicaragua!

Will update with camp and workshop soon.
