Update from Burkina Faso…

Greetings from Burkina Faso!  So far, I have enjoyed here in Bobo Dioulasso.  People here are friendly.  Yesterday we just started a workshop with 4 deaf translators at deaf school in Bobo Dioulasso.  It can be challenging for them but they made good progress, following our methods of translation.  Will update more later!

I have taken some pictures during the trip to Bobo Dioulasso and at deaf school.  Enjoy!

Next mission…Burkina Faso

Greetings!  About 2 weeks ago, I arrived home from Costa Rica and now I’m getting ready for Burkina Faso located in western Africa.  You can see a map below.  I’m leaving on Friday afternoon and arriving Burkina Faso on next day.  I’m exciting to start a sign language translation workshop.  Deaf people in Burkina Faso need to know God’s Word in their heart sign language.  I’m looking forward to meeting deaf and interpreters there.  Please pray for my safety for traveling, guidance & wisdom and also, pray that our workshop will be a success!  Will try to update with news and pictures soon.  Blessings!

Pura Vida!

Pura Vida!!!  I’m back home from Costa Rica.  Pura Vida literally means “Pure Life”.  It symbolizes the idea of simply enjoy life and being happy.  It’s a way of life in Costa Rica.

I have really enjoyed in Costa Rica.  We went there for deaf conference for Latin America.  I have met wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ from all over Latin America (13 countries).  It’s awesome to learn different sign languages.  We worshipped, shared God of Word, prayed and fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ.

I want to share pictures with you.  I hope you enjoy it!
