Greetings! I’m pleased to share that the Deaf conference in Cartagena, Colombia was outstanding. It was our first time attending the WDAG conference (World Deaf Assemblies of God), and it proved to be an exceptional experience. We reconnected with familiar faces and built strong new relationships. Representatives from 23 different countries—about 230 people in total—participated in this conference. The workshops and preaching were powerful and effective. Throughout the week, speakers from different countries preached on their designated days. It was inspiring to witness worship from various nations, and I valued every moment. When it was Brazil’s turn to preach, I confidently stepped in to interpret into ASL for my pastor, who preached in LIBRAS, Brazilian Sign Language. The interpretation went smoothly and clearly. This conference significantly equips us to connect with others, especially with partner organizations such as Renew Outreach. See the pictures below.

Next month, I will travel to Togo in Africa for Deaf Services meetings, and I am excited to share and develop our plans for the future.

Thank you for your time and your continued support.
